Cluster Maker VST / AU / Multiscript
Cluster Maker VST / AU / Multiscript
Multiscript version runs in any DAW using Kontakt.
VST/AU plugin works in Logic, Reaper, Cubase.
Controllable Bendy Clusters
-
Cluster Maker allows you to quickly build your own controllable clusters from your virtual instruments.
It works by sending pitch bends to each individual midi channel, along with the notes.
Additional features like anti-phase mode, auto-move, and randomization give you even more options to make some discordant, warped, uneasy sounds. -
Features
-
Send pitch wheel data to bend instruments up and down.
-
Anti-phase mode transposes to avoid same-instrument phasing.
-
Quickly randomize and reset pitch bend settings.
-
Auto-move mode, with independent speed controls.
Limitations
-Because Cluster Maker uses pitch wheel data, some instruments (e.g. Spitfire/CSS) won't respond. There's a workaround (explained in the Diving Deeper Video) for Kontakt Instruments, but involves extra steps and less pitch accuracy.
-Studio One isn't able to use the VST3 version (however the multiscript works fine).
-Multiscript version runs in any DAW within Kontakt (version 5.8.1 or above).
-VST version in Cubase requires loading the plugin in its own separate track. (Meaning you'll have two tracks, one for the plugin and another for your instrument.
